Welcome to the knocker project

Knocker is a simple and easy to use TCP security port scanner written in C to analyze hosts and all of the different services started on them. It is available for Linux, FreeBSD, HP-UX, and Windows9x/2000/NT and it is licensed under the GNU General Public License GPL.

 

Current release

The latest release is version 0.8.0

This is a maintenance release, that also fixes some nast bugs.

Development

While knocker is already a working and a quite stable product, it is still in a early and a continuos development stage. This means that many features and improvements are still to be added, and that new versions will be quite often released.

This also means that you can contribute to the project in many ways, like joining as developer, reporting bugs, suggesting or requesting features, providing and handling knocker's port or binary packages.
